Electronic Marketing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the media planning function. Manages a team responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Being a Electronic Marketing Manager designs, develops, and executes media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, message, and objectives. Uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Additionally, Electronic Marketing Manager oversees campaign tactics and execution to monitor spending, manage budgets, and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for all types of media campaigns. Guides negotiations for media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Researches and recommends new media strategies, platforms, and channels to explore or utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Electronic Marketing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     What you'll be doing in this role...

    Under the general direction of the CEO, the Marketing Manager will own the go-to-market and product release strategy and carry out our comprehensive marketing and branding strategy for all hospitality projects in the Vertice Hospitality Management Group portfolio. This person will work closely with the executive team and operations managers to design collateral and build a social media strategy, including Instagram posts (in collaboration with Chef Kyle), newsletters, online advertising campaigns and SEO. An individual with excellent communication and project management skills who can implement strategic frameworks and processes and execute against business objectives, will be successful in this role.

    Strategic

    • Develop long-term product, branding, and marketing strategy, including roadmaps
    • Manage online ad campaigns -- understand the performance of various campaigns and work to continuously improve them
    • Establish product partnerships and a go-to-market product framework
    • Work closely with our CEO to define, implement, and manage our marketing strategy for optimal performance and results
    • Build, further develop, and leverage relationships with industry media to evangelize our brand, mission, and movement in the market.
    • Work with internal stakeholders to plan, create, and launch creative campaigns and compelling stories around our announcements and initiatives that resonate with audiences
    • Lead customer-centric thinking and craft programs to meet those target markets
    • Develop and maintain brand identity for portfolio projects (mission, vision, voice, etc.)
    • Gauge how marketing campaigns have progressed and fine-tune to ensure they reach the right audience
    • Oversee performance data analysis and evaluation - SEO, Google Analytics Reports, FB Ad Analytics
    • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets, and allocating resources appropriately.
    • Collate pertinent information from operations managers and develop a communication plan that distills our key messages and reaches the right audience on an ongoing basis
    • Work closely with our PR team to coordinate efforts on press releases and social media
    • Coordinate with photographers and videographers to maintain a set of up-to-date, high quality images to use for various campaigns, releases, etc.
    • Represent the marketing team to cross-functional groups including product management, sales, or customer support.
    • Oversee and direct Marketing Coordinator
    • Manage third party agencies (e.g. creative, branding)
    Tactical

    • Design website and write content
    • Create all product and sales collateral
    • Build internal product and sales
    • Curation, organization, and selection of images and video content in coordination with Owner / Head Chef and Owner / Head Farmer
    • Assist Executive Wine Director with the ST Wines website newsletter and marketing
    Required Skills and Abilities:
     
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information
    • Highly organized, systems-thinker who can handle multiple inputs from multiple stakeholders
    • Ability to prioritize marketing needs based on potential impact and communicate these priorities with leadership
    • Ability to embody the ethos of SingleThread and Vertice Hospitality Management in written materials
    • Ability and interest in using data to analyze the performance of various social media campaigns, newsletters, etc. 
    • Tech-savvy with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Copyright, MailChimp, Slack, or similar programs
    • Must be able to work a varying shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

    In an ideal world, you have:

    • Bachelor’s or Master degree in marketing or related discipline; MBA preferred
    • 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in related industry
    • 1 years of marketing leadership experience
    • Proven leadership experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Strong ability to write content and speak in our voice and work with Chef Kyle on social media
    • Ability to manage people, processes and timelines
    • Entrepreneurial and works well in a rapidly changing environment

    • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely and successfully with federal, state, and local standards

    • Ability to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, climb stairs and steps, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment
