We design and manufacture a wide variety of standard equipment enclosures from full-size cabinets to sub-racks at our facility in Aurora, Illinois. Since the company’s founding in 1960, Equipto Electronics has been a preferred supplier for military, civil government, power utility and other critical electronics applications.

General Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
• Utilize handheld tools such as a handheld screw and drill gun
• Maintain inventory of product in workstations
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements/Skills

• Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, turning, for extended periods
• Must be able to use tape measure and framing square
• Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures, and Code of Conduct
• Must be able to interact well with others.
• Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
• Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities
• Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 70 lbs.
• Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Authorized to work in United States.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
