Position Description:
The AOI Operator will perform inspection of product run through Automated Optical Inspection equipment as it is manufactured on the SMT line.
Performs any combination of following duties:
- Operation of the Koh Young AOI Machine.
- Programming and troubleshooting of the Koh Young AOI Machine.
- Resolve program issues.
- Work with Engineering / Production Management with program scheduling.
- Knowledge of IPC 610 standard.
- Entering quality yield information into databases.
- Ensure an efficient, safe, and secure environment.
- Responsible for the quality and accuracy of own work.
- Performs setup of automated machinery following documented work instructions.
- Monitors product during production to ensure acceptable quality.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Experience using documented work instructions.
- Koh Young AOI operations.
- Electronics manufacturing experience is required.
- AOI experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Koh Young AOI programming experience preferred
- IPC Certification preferred.
- General computer knowledge.
- Familiar with IPC-A-610 standard, certification a plus
- Familiar with IPC-A-620 standard, certification a plus
- Familiar with IPC J-STD-001standard, certification a plus
