As a Calibration Technician on our PCAL Service Team you will perform calibrations on new production instruments, recalibrate customer instruments, and maintain the calibrations on all measurement and test equipment (M&TE) through internal or external calibration services. You will follow and support the ISO 17025 Quality Standard.
Responsibilities:
· Analyzes, troubleshoots, makes repairs, resolves technical problems, and performs maintenance and calibration service on equipment or components returned to service center by customers.
· Collect data, record information, and generate calibration certificates.
· Conveys data and trends on product repairs to appropriate person or department to assure customer satisfaction.
· Maintain both primary and secondary calibration standards per published schedules.
· Raises unusual product issues to technical support or other appropriate department.
· Completes all documentation supporting customer requirements, reporting, ISO and other quality systems.
· Communicate service issues and delays with customers and coworkers on the phone, in person, and through email.
· Adheres to quality management system policies and procedures in performance of work
· FBS participation-Daily Scheduling, Visual Management Participation, Kaizen Participation, Problem solving participation.
Performs other laboratory support functions as needed in an efficient and orderly manner.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent. (Secondary schooling, military PMEL or TMDE training preferred).
