WORK OBJECTIVE:
Ensure that the overall appearance and cleanliness of all Guest rooms are in compliance while assisting the Housekeeping Team to ensure that proper practices are being practiced.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Housekeeping Inspector to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The primary objective is to ensure that our housekeeping standards are consistently met and exceeded, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and other corresponding spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established standards.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to address any areas that require attention, providing constructive feedback and support for continuous improvement.
• Monitor the use of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper handling and storage to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Coordinate with the maintenance department to report any maintenance issues or repairs needed in guest rooms or common areas.
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, quality standards, and attention to detail.
• Assist in developing and implementing housekeeping procedures and checklists to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Education:

Depending on functional area of assignment, tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort usually involving some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 25 pounds). May involve some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking, or standing. Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation and extended periods of time standing and/or walking.
