Elevator Inspector inspects, adjusts, and maintains installed freight and passenger elevators and escalators to meet specifications and safety codes. May recommend repairs. Being an Elevator Inspector requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Elevator Inspector is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Our building has two elevators, one hydraulic and one traction elevator. They are old but parts have been replaced and they have been well maintained. We are looking for an elevator technician that can:
- install emergency phones in each cab.
- conduct routine maintenance every so often.
- troubleshoot and repair when necessary.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
