Elevator Installer/Repairer installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains freight and passenger elevators and escalators. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Elevator Installer/Repairer may be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Elevator Installer/Repairer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. In this role, the Dispatcher will coordinate field activities and staff by delivering assignments, instructions, and alerts via the company’s communications network. You will also run various reports, collect time sheets and handle incoming calls and direct as appropriate. Bi-lingual English & Spanish required.
Successful candidates will possess a High School diploma (Associates or Bachelors preferred) and 3 years service dispatch experience (elevator/plumbing/HVAC experience preferred). You must have excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment and prioritize tasks. Previous experience with multi-line phone systems is also required.
