What We Are Seeking

This role involves managing Acumen's existing commercial insurance (P&C) accounts across various industries, working on new opportunities from Acumen's Network, the existing book of business, and external producers. As a dynamic leader and collaborator, you will be instrumental in expanding the business and developing your personal skillset. The successful candidate should excel in a fast-paced environment, leading by example alongside 1-2 other team members, and taking ownership of the growth and servicing of the division.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire process of new business opportunities in the pipeline, ensuring thorough and diligent follow-up throughout all phases.
• Manage the process of renewals.
• Assist and support customers with their inquiries, concerns, and needs to ensure a positive and satisfactory experience.
• Remain current on developments in emerging insurance markets, technology, and the latest trends.
• Streamline processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Take a proactive approach to timely follow-ups on critical items related to service, renewals, and new business with both carriers and customers.
• Utilize EPIC to help manage customer data.
• Develop top-tier submissions for carriers to ensure they stand out and are prioritized.

Minimum Requirements

• License: Property & Casualty (ANY)

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree
• Areas of Expertise: Casualty / General Liability, Builder's Risk, Construction, Construction / Contractors, Directors & Officers, Waiver of Subrogation, Professional Liability / Errors & Omission, General Contractors, Construction / OCIPS & Wrap Ups, Certificate Issuance for Contractors
• Management & Rating Systems: EPIC, EZLynx – will train for right candidate
• Computer Skills: MS Teams, Adobe, DocuSign, DropBox, Google Docs, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Windows 10, MS Outlook
• Languages: English
