Emergency Dispatcher is responsible for responding to calls for emergency and non-emergency assistance and dispatching law enforcement, fire fighting, or rescue units. Transmits and receives coded and conventional messages. Being an Emergency Dispatcher differentiates between routine, priority, and emergency messages, and initiates or follows through on responses as required. Communicates details of situation and location. Additionally, Emergency Dispatcher enters unit response details into a database. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Emergency Dispatcher works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Clarksville Veterinary Emergency & Specialty seeks an Emergency Veterinarian to join our team (generous relocation bonus offered).
We are interested in speaking with internship-trained, experienced, or general practice veterinarians with a passion for emergency medicine for Part Time or Full Time positions.
We opened in April 2020 and are rapidly growing closer to our goal of 24/7 ER receiving! On-site specialists include Surgery and Internal Medicine 4 days per week. Access to our specialists at the Nashville location is also available!
We also have a growing internship program and many of our interns stay with us as emergency doctors.
Our specialty equipment includes on site CT, MRI, digital radiography, ultrasound, echocardiography, laparoscopy, endoscopy, cystoscopy, and electrodiagnostics. We are also deeply committed to environmental sustainability and supporting our community through volunteer work.
