Additionally, Emergency Medical Technician requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Requires Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic. General Description: Community-based rescue squad seeking to add high-quality licensed EMT-B to our daytime duty crew roster
Hours: one to two 12-hour shifts (6A-6P) per week.
Responsibilities Include:
-Respond to emergency medical situations, provide high-quality prehospital care to patients on-scene and during transport to area hospitals.
-Complete all required documentation, such as Patient Care Reports.
Complete general station duties, including restocking supplies, ambulance checks/inventories, and light cleaning.
Qualifications/Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Current valid IDPH, EMT-B or EMT-P license
-Current CPR certification
-Physical ability to provide appropriate patient care (including lifting)
-Valid driver’s license
