Emergency Medical Technician responds to emergency calls for medical assistance, assesses the situation, obtains a basic medical history and physical examination of the patient, and provides emergency care at the scene and during transit to the hospital. Utilizes necessary medical equipment to treat the patient and ascertains the extent of their injuries or illness. Being an Emergency Medical Technician communicates with the medical care facility receiving the patient about the patient's condition, status, and arrival time. May require registry in NREMT. Additionally, Emergency Medical Technician requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Requires Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Emergency Medical Technician works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. We are recruiting for an experienced full-time physician in southern Idaho. The position is a stand-alone role, working 12-13 twelve-hour shifts each month. North Canyon Medical Center, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization based in Gooding, Idaho. We have clinics in Gooding, Buhl, Jerome, Hailey, and Twin Falls, Idaho. Requirements
A passion for high quality full spectrum patient care.
Ability and desire to provide an exceptional patient experience.
Able to obtain a valid license to practice in the state of Idaho.
Experience in Emergency Medicine.
Ability and confidence to practice independently.
Graduation from an accredited MD or DO program.
Experience working in a successful interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
Successful completion of background check and privileging process.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Dedication to uphold provider licensure and organizational standards.
