    Job Summary
    We are in search of up to 3 full-time Associate Veterinarians (DVM) interested in being a part of our growing team of diverse, skilled and caring professionals.

    Our goal is to provide emergency care for dogs and cats in the Sandhills of North Carolina.

    Small Animal Emergency Services features an in-house IDEXX lab, digital X-ray, therapy laser, endoscope, and ultrasound. We currently average 500 patients a month. Our DVMs encounter everything and anything.

    Responsibilities
    • Provide examinations
    • Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment
    • Perform surgeries
    • Prescribe medication
    • Update client records

    Qualifications
    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
    • Previous work experience as a veterinarian
    • Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms
    • Problem-solving skills
    • Availability to work nights, weekends, Holidays, or on-call shifts when necessary
    • Patience and a love for animals
