Emergency Services Director jobs in Mesa, AZ

This is a W-2 Hybrid Opportunity. During peak season April-September onsite work will be required on most work days. During the months of October - March remote work will be available on most work days.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Duties Include:

• Utilize Quickbooks Online
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Reconcile assets
• Expense and receipt tracking
• Invoice customers
• Collect receivables
• Sales Tax compliance and reporting
• Ensure accuracy of all entries and reports
• Ability to track integrations from point of sale systems to QuickBooks
• Ability to learn web based systems with minimal assistance
• Provide reporting as requested
• Provide support for the team members as requested
• Utilize Monday for information and project management
• Utilize Front for communications
• Demonstrate attention to detail
• Display ethical behavior.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification preferred)
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
