    Situated in the picturesque desert foothills, this 300 bed short-term acute care hospital and soon-to-be designated Trauma Center offers Southern Arizonans a broad range of medical services, including Robotic and Minimally Invasive Surgery, Maternity and Newborn Care, 24/7 Emergency Services, and Neurology Services. This hospital organization has achieved a Women’s Imaging Center of Excellence award and also has a number of urgent care centers conveniently located throughout the community.

    Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer CNO, the RN Director Emergency and Trauma Services will become responsible for oversight of a busy 50 bed Emergency Department with nearly 60 FTEs. The Nurse Director Emergency Department will ensure staff and patient safety for 45,000 annual ER visits, identify opportunities for performance improvement, and collaborate with other RN Directors across the hospital and health system to promote positive patient outcomes. Furthermore, this role will become integral in working towards Trauma Center certification.

    The ideal candidate for the Emergency Department Nurse Director will obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, active AZ State RN License, along with 5 years of emergency services experience and 3 years of Director-level experience.
