Employee Development Specialist implements and supports programs aligned with leadership development strategy and strategic business imperatives to develop management capabilities throughout the workforce. Maintains frameworks that represent skills and leadership capabilities that are critical to long-term and short-term objectives. Being a Employee Development Specialist supports training, coaching, professional development, and experiential assignments that make up the leadership development strategy. Fosters a culture of informal knowledge exchange, coaching, and training throughout the organization to engage and develop the workforce. Additionally, Employee Development Specialist promotes training and development programs and career pathing initiatives. Prepares analysis and reporting of leadership development efforts and results. May participate in periodic succession planning exercises and talent assessments to ensure critical roles are defined. Helps to create slates of individuals identified for leadership development activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Employee Development Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The Youth Development Specialist's primary responsibility is for the direct care and supervision of youth in our residential program (shelter). This individual must be able to demonstrate competent judgment, and have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. This role functions within the established guidelines and procedures and reports directly to the Residential Supervisor.

FT Sunday - Thursday 11pm - 7am
FT Sunday - Thursday 3pm - 11pm
PT Friday - Saturday 2:30pm-10:30pm
PT Friday - Saturday 3pm - 11pm

What you get: Starting Base Pay: $19.00 per hour

Skills / Requirements High school diploma or GED required. One-to-Two years general work experience or equivalent number of hours worked in part-time or volunteer work. Work in a direct contact role with youth at risk required. Must demonstrate awareness, acceptance, and ability to work with the LGBT community Background compliant with requirements of the Department of Juvenile Justice.
