Employee Development Specialist implements and supports programs aligned with leadership development strategy and strategic business imperatives to develop management capabilities throughout the workforce. Maintains frameworks that represent skills and leadership capabilities that are critical to long-term and short-term objectives. Being a Employee Development Specialist supports training, coaching, professional development, and experiential assignments that make up the leadership development strategy. Fosters a culture of informal knowledge exchange, coaching, and training throughout the organization to engage and develop the workforce. Additionally, Employee Development Specialist promotes training and development programs and career pathing initiatives. Prepares analysis and reporting of leadership development efforts and results. May participate in periodic succession planning exercises and talent assessments to ensure critical roles are defined. Helps to create slates of individuals identified for leadership development activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Employee Development Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     GENERAL PURPOSE: Registered Nurse

    The employee, in tandem with Ampla Healths Safety Officer and as overseen by the Director of Clinical Services, will play an essential role in providing safety training mandated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as it relates to employee safety. The employee will also provide mandated trainings relating to patient safety for insurance companies, Medicare, Medi-Cal, and other entities. The employee will participate in updating safety plans on an annual basis.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Registered Nurse

    • Works with Director of Clinical Services to ensure education is aligned with OSHA Standards and other mandated education through other organizations.
    • Instructs and facilitates OSHA safety training

    COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS: Registered Nurse

    • Must have neat and legible handwriting

    PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Registered Nurse

    • 2 years of experience in safety and/or training
    • Knowledge or OSHA safety requirements
    • Use of Excel/Google Sheets and Word/Google Docs required
    • Strong oral and written communications
    • Valid California RN Registered Nurse License issued by the Board of Registered Nurse required
    • Current CPR certification required
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cordial working relationships with corporations employees, potential patients, public and private services organizations, community residents
    • Valid California drivers license and proof of insurance
    • Reliable method to and work with people of all ages, social, cultural and ethnic background
    • Demonstrates good judgment in the positive representation of Ampla Health
