Employee Development Specialist implements and supports programs aligned with leadership development strategy and strategic business imperatives to develop management capabilities throughout the workforce. Maintains frameworks that represent skills and leadership capabilities that are critical to long-term and short-term objectives. Being a Employee Development Specialist supports training, coaching, professional development, and experiential assignments that make up the leadership development strategy. Fosters a culture of informal knowledge exchange, coaching, and training throughout the organization to engage and develop the workforce. Additionally, Employee Development Specialist promotes training and development programs and career pathing initiatives. Prepares analysis and reporting of leadership development efforts and results. May participate in periodic succession planning exercises and talent assessments to ensure critical roles are defined. Helps to create slates of individuals identified for leadership development activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Employee Development Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas.


    Panasonic is seeking an Employee Experience Specialist to join our organization. This role will be responsible for facilitation and program management of the new hire orientation. This organization is poised to grow by several thousand employees in the next few years. Bring your energy and creativity and come build with us.


    Essential Duties:

    • Provide facilitation, project support, and administration of New Employee Orientation programs and processes.
    • Act as a primary facilitator and point of contact for new employees through their onboarding experience.
    • Partner with applicable team including Recruiting, IT, Payroll, Safety, HR & external vendors to proactively solve for new hire issues.
    • Perform administrative functions necessary to document training programs and track employee training and progress
    • Stay up to date with innovative and creative ways of onboarding new employees and ensure onboarding content is kept current
    • Manage training events including arrangement of equipment procurement, room reservation, and facilities requests
    • Other duties/HR projects as assigned by manager


    Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

    • To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees’, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

    Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred


    Education:

    • Basic/Required: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field preferred. May substitute directly related experience for degree.


    Essential Qualifications:

    • 4 years of relevant experience as a trainer or facilitator.
    • Experience compiling and using analytics, including qualitative and quantitative methods
    • Strong bias towards execution and delivery of classroom facilitation and instructional design projects.
    • Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
    • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation/facilitation skills.
    • Must have the ability to effectively and appropriately interface and communicate with a variety of individuals or groups on a frequent basis.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working with HR enabling technology through existing HRIS system
    • Experience developing and enhancing orientation programs
