Employee Development Specialist implements and supports programs aligned with leadership development strategy and strategic business imperatives to develop management capabilities throughout the workforce. Maintains frameworks that represent skills and leadership capabilities that are critical to long-term and short-term objectives. Being a Employee Development Specialist supports training, coaching, professional development, and experiential assignments that make up the leadership development strategy. Fosters a culture of informal knowledge exchange, coaching, and training throughout the organization to engage and develop the workforce. Additionally, Employee Development Specialist promotes training and development programs and career pathing initiatives. Prepares analysis and reporting of leadership development efforts and results. May participate in periodic succession planning exercises and talent assessments to ensure critical roles are defined. Helps to create slates of individuals identified for leadership development activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Employee Development Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     A global commercial insurance broker with a dynamic team comprising 50 employees, is currently seeking an Employee Benefits Communication Specialist to join their team at the Los Angeles office. Reporting to VP of employee benefits, the Benefits Communication Specialist provides benefits communication support by collaborating with the Account Managers. Qualified candidate must speak/read/write fluent level English and Spanish and has minimum of 2 years of Employee Benefits related experience.

    Responsibilities:
    Prepare comprehensive open enrollment materials and conduct presentations in both English and Spanish, utilizing virtual and on-site platforms at client locations.
    Translate benefits materials and conduct meetings in Spanish to ensure effective communication.
    Collaborate closely with the internal team, providing support in the preparation of open enrollment materials and meetings.
    Assist Employee Benefit service teams in updating annual plan documents, populating employee census, and maintaining clients' online benefit administration portals.
    Travel locally and occasionally out of town or state for open enrollment meetings, with an expectation of approximately 5 out-of-state travels per year.
    Deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a professional demeanor.
    Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in the employee benefits field.
    Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
    Must obtain a Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License.
    Flexibility and willingness to travel for open enrollment meetings.
    Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
