Employee Development Specialist implements and supports programs aligned with leadership development strategy and strategic business imperatives to develop management capabilities throughout the workforce. Maintains frameworks that represent skills and leadership capabilities that are critical to long-term and short-term objectives. Being a Employee Development Specialist supports training, coaching, professional development, and experiential assignments that make up the leadership development strategy. Fosters a culture of informal knowledge exchange, coaching, and training throughout the organization to engage and develop the workforce. Additionally, Employee Development Specialist promotes training and development programs and career pathing initiatives. Prepares analysis and reporting of leadership development efforts and results. May participate in periodic succession planning exercises and talent assessments to ensure critical roles are defined. Helps to create slates of individuals identified for leadership development activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Employee Development Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.   • Position Summary:
    Employee Benefits Corporation is hiring for a Senior Compliance Services Specialist. The Senior Compliance Services Specialist maintains comprehensive knowledge and in depth understanding of ERISA and Employee Benefits Corporation’s Compliance Services products. This position resolves complex client inquiries, determines appropriate actions, and accurately compiles and interprets data for our products. The role requires a high level of organization with strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize workload based on ever-changing business needs. This position interacts with the Compliance Department, operations service teams, client contacts, brokers, prospects, and Sales Department.
     
    This person may work in our Middleton, WI office, fully remote (Wisconsin locations only), or a combination of the two depending on availability. Must be available for one day of onsite training and onboarding in person at our Middleton, WI office.
     
    Responsibilities Include:
    • Maintain current and working knowledge of EBC’s procedures for Compliance Services products
    • Understand concepts of ERISA and cafeteria nondiscrimination testing
    • Enter accurate client and plan data into approved software programs to enable provision of Compliance Services products to clients and brokers
    • Generate accurate and complete Forms 5500 and wrap plan documents within departmental and company turnaround times
    • Interpret and apply product and regulatory knowledge in determining appropriate actions, communications and follow ups to clients, brokers and internal colleagues
    • Coordinate workload distribution of CRM tasks and Help Desk emails with other team members to ensure accurate responses within departmental turnaround times
    • Maintain, update and proactively manage customer relations database, documenting each client interaction and action item in adherence to department standards
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field (may be substituted with four years of relevant work experience)
    • Two years of experience in similar role serving internal and external customers in a regulatory driven industry
    • Demonstrated ability to achieve and maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with multiple data points and information
    • Demonstrated effective listening, verbal and written communication skills, utilizing proper grammar and syntax with the ability to articulate relevant information in an organized and concise manner
    • Demonstrated experience de-escalating client issues and troubleshooting issues
    • Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications along with a demonstrated ability to learn new software programs
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in ERISA requirements for Forms 5500 and wrap plans
    • Prior experience in compliance or employee benefits administration
    • Previous experience with customer relationship management systems
