Employee Development Specialist implements and supports programs aligned with leadership development strategy and strategic business imperatives to develop management capabilities throughout the workforce. Maintains frameworks that represent skills and leadership capabilities that are critical to long-term and short-term objectives. Being a Employee Development Specialist supports training, coaching, professional development, and experiential assignments that make up the leadership development strategy. Fosters a culture of informal knowledge exchange, coaching, and training throughout the organization to engage and develop the workforce. Additionally, Employee Development Specialist promotes training and development programs and career pathing initiatives. Prepares analysis and reporting of leadership development efforts and results. May participate in periodic succession planning exercises and talent assessments to ensure critical roles are defined. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trainer/Facilitator specializing in leadership development and customer service to join our team. This role will involve delivering training programs focused on enhancing leadership skills and fostering a customer-centric approach within Oklahoma Human Services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in leadership development, customer service principles, and adult learning methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor’s degree plus three years of professional-level experience in human resource management or development;
or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one additional year of professional or technical public sector human resources management experience for each year of the required education;
or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting the possession of a master’s degree in public administration, human resources or a closely related field for one year of the required experience.
Preference:
Preference may be given to applicants who have at least 5 years of full-time talent development/training delivery experience at a professional level.
