Maintains frameworks that represent skills and leadership capabilities that are critical to long-term and short-term objectives. Being a Employee Development Specialist supports training, coaching, professional development, and experiential assignments that make up the leadership development strategy. Fosters a culture of informal knowledge exchange, coaching, and training throughout the organization to engage and develop the workforce. Additionally, Employee Development Specialist promotes training and development programs and career pathing initiatives. Prepares analysis and reporting of leadership development efforts and results. May participate in periodic succession planning exercises and talent assessments to ensure critical roles are defined. JOB PURPOSE: The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for the development and administration of the employee relations program and employee advocacy. This position interfaces with employees and outside agencies. In this role, the successful team member will be primarily responsible for investigating employee complaints, determining appropriate discipline and issuing the same, and managing and processing all types of separations on behalf of the Company. Additionally, this role will be responsible for taking a leadership role in employee events and years of service ceremonies.
