Employee Development Specialist implements and supports programs aligned with leadership development strategy and strategic business imperatives to develop management capabilities throughout the workforce. Maintains frameworks that represent skills and leadership capabilities that are critical to long-term and short-term objectives. Being a Employee Development Specialist supports training, coaching, professional development, and experiential assignments that make up the leadership development strategy. Fosters a culture of informal knowledge exchange, coaching, and training throughout the organization to engage and develop the workforce. Additionally, Employee Development Specialist promotes training and development programs and career pathing initiatives. Prepares analysis and reporting of leadership development efforts and results. May participate in periodic succession planning exercises and talent assessments to ensure critical roles are defined. Helps to create slates of individuals identified for leadership development activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Employee Development Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Development of behavioral support protocols and/or plans
Monitoring and documenting client progress through data collection, summarizing and
writing reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
Completing periodic testing, assessments and observations of clients
Participating in annual client ISP reviews and other team meeting discussions
Providing clinical support and guidance to Direct Support Professionals
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Health, or related field or RBT certification
Knowledge of Microsoft Word with excellent report writing skills
Ability to perform and train others on behavior support behavioral support protocols and/or plans
Pay Rate/Benefits: $55,000 - $65,000per year depending on experience. Separate bonuses may be paid throughout the year. Sign on bonus is available once per lifetime. Medical, Dental, Vision, and AFLAC Benefits are available, some with agency contribution as well as our 401k with company MATCH contributions. All available only 90 days after hire.
Due to State Guidelines, all Employees must be 18 years or older, possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, willing to undergo a physical by a licensed physician with a drug screen and TB test, and a valid New Jersey, New York or Pennsylvania Driver's License. Must have a clean driving record and able to drive our agency vehicles per insurance regulations.
