Employee Development Specialist implements and supports programs aligned with leadership development strategy and strategic business imperatives to develop management capabilities throughout the workforce. Maintains frameworks that represent skills and leadership capabilities that are critical to long-term and short-term objectives. Being a Employee Development Specialist supports training, coaching, professional development, and experiential assignments that make up the leadership development strategy. Fosters a culture of informal knowledge exchange, coaching, and training throughout the organization to engage and develop the workforce. Additionally, Employee Development Specialist promotes training and development programs and career pathing initiatives. Prepares analysis and reporting of leadership development efforts and results. May participate in periodic succession planning exercises and talent assessments to ensure critical roles are defined. Helps to create slates of individuals identified for leadership development activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Employee Development Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Job title: Bilingual Community Development/Outreach Specialist

    We are seeking a full-time, bilingual Parent Partners Plus Specialist to coordinate home visitation referrals and outreach parents of young children for home visitation programs throughout Maricopa County. This person will work closely with the Program Manager to build and maintain an alliance of family support/home visitation providers for expecting parents and families with children birth to age five.

    In this role you will:

    • Conduct phone screens with families
    • Make referrals to home visitation programs and community resources
    • Maintain information in a database and generate reports to partners and funders
    • Follow up with families and community programs regarding services
    • Keep detailed records of phone interactions with families
    • Plan and staff community outreach activities to recruit families for home visitation services in Maricopa County

    What it takes:

    • Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Bilingual in Spanish required.
    • One (1) year experience in community outreach, engagement, recruitment, and coordination with community providers
    • Knowledgeable about home visitation and the home visitation system
    • Skilled in data collection
    • Knowledgeable of community resources in Maricopa County
    • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card - OR - must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
