Employee Development Specialist implements and supports programs aligned with leadership development strategy and strategic business imperatives to develop management capabilities throughout the workforce. Maintains frameworks that represent skills and leadership capabilities that are critical to long-term and short-term objectives. Being a Employee Development Specialist supports training, coaching, professional development, and experiential assignments that make up the leadership development strategy. Fosters a culture of informal knowledge exchange, coaching, and training throughout the organization to engage and develop the workforce. Additionally, Employee Development Specialist promotes training and development programs and career pathing initiatives. Prepares analysis and reporting of leadership development efforts and results. May participate in periodic succession planning exercises and talent assessments to ensure critical roles are defined. Helps to create slates of individuals identified for leadership development activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Employee Development Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. As a Data Analyst you will work with our Employee Engagement software to help our clients determine their cause of turnover and using the data generated help to determine what the client needs to do to increase employee retention.

    Data Analyst / Employee Engagement Responsibilities:

     

    • Learn our retention tools and technology and have an amazing attitude
    • Launch our surveys to the employees of our various clients using our system
    • Collect data and insure accuracy so our reporting mechanism is correct 
    • Provide training for our clients in the use of our products and services 
    • Treat our clients, applicants and fellow associates with the utmost respect. Non-negotiable. 

     

    What you need to succeed:

     

    • High School or GED required. Some or all college preferred.
    • A couple years of retail or professional experience is a must. If you have ever worked in data entry or data analysis, that is a Plus!  
    • Good with computers and a good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
    • Must be absolutely relentless in the pursuit of being the best that you can be.
    • An attitude of winning. Because all we do is win, win, win, no matter what.
