JOB SUMMARY: Provide friendly and excellent service to guests. Must be knowledgeable of all areas of the restaurant including cashier, bus person and wait staff duties.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. At least one (1) year experience in the restaurant profession preferred. Must have the ability to communicate in a clear concise manner. Must possess leadership and management skills. Must be a motivated team player. Must be able to run a cash register and count back change.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Able to work inside an assigned restaurant during an entire shift. Must have the ability to learn the POS system and perform all duties included in reconciling daily reports and paperwork. Must be able to multi-task. Must have good telephone skills and be knowledgeable in promotions in both dining rooms and throughout the Casino. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and oral cues. Have the ability to maneuver in and around tables when leading customers to be seated. Must be able to tolerate smoke-filled areas. Have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Greet customers and seat them in the restaurant on a rotating basis. Handle and solve any concerns or questions from guests in a fair and professional manner. Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant and assist where needed.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
