We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dining Room Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining establishment. As a Dining Room Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing the dining room staff, and maintaining a smooth and efficient dining experience for our guests.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate all activities in the dining room, including seating arrangements, table settings, and cleanliness
- Train and manage dining room staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bussers
- Ensure that all staff members adhere to company policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain inventory of dining room supplies, such as utensils, glassware, and linens
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate billing and payment transactions
- Conduct regular inspections of the dining area to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a supervisory or management role
- Strong cash handling skills
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities
