Employee Status : Seasonal, Full-Time hours
Exemption : Hourly, Non-Exempt
Location : On-site (99 Inn Road, Shelburne, VT 05482)
Start & End Date : May - October
Pay Rate : $25 -$30 / hour
Work Schedule : We're open 7 days / week for the season and are seeking someone who is flexible to oversee both breakfast (7am - 2pm) and dinner (3pm - 11pm) shifts.
You would only be expected to work 4 - 5 shifts / week but do need weekend availability and flexibility to help fill in shifts as needed.
Housing : Located on our 1,400 acre farm, walking distance to the inn (no need for vehicle while living here unless you want to leave the farm).
You will have a private, single occupancy bedroom in a shared house with 5 other inn & restaurant colleagues. All furnishings, bedding, and kitchen supplies are provided.
Employees need only bring their personal items and food. No pets allowed and the housed spot is only available for the employee (not for family members).
Staff meals are provided before / after your shifts and a small store on the farm offers other necessary cooking items to purchase (2 miles from staff house).
Local store with more supplies is 5 miles away and easily accessible by bicycle (not provided by farm).
Outdoor recreation located on farm include : water sports in Lake Champlain, hiking / walking / jogging around the farm, forest bathing, and endless opportunities to engage with farm animals.
We're a learning campus and hope you enjoy all that the farm has to offer!
Outdoor recreation located beyond the farm : Smaller hikes within 10 miles, larger hikes within 30 miles, biking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and simply exploring all that Vermont (and upstate NY) have to offer.
