Employee Health Services Manager is responsible for managing the employee health service functions of the organization. Administers healthcare program operations and supervises subordinate staff. Being an Employee Health Services Manager ensures that all medical records are kept in a manner compliant with appropriate policies and procedures. May be responsible for administering employee physicals, injury related diagnoses, or other types of referrals according to OSHA regulations. Additionally, Employee Health Services Manager may provide consultation regarding workers' compensation, infection control or other employee health related issues. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. Typically requires a registered nurse. The Employee Health Services Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Key job duties of the Manager of Crisis Intervention Services include:

    • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to counselors, social workers, and paraprofessionals in our Crisis Intervention Services department
    • Provide program and administrative oversight to Crisis Intervention Services
    • Prepare/monitor related program data and outcomes.
    • Provide limited direct care to patients – interventions may include safety evaluations, safety planning home, inpatient psychiatry referral and coordination
    • Maintaining relationships with referring agencies and community stakeholders
    • Monitor compliance with company policy and procedure
    • Participate in budget development and monitoring

    Qualified Manager of Crisis Intervention Services candidates must have:

    • Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work
    • LPCC-S or LISW-S
    • 3 years’ experience working in mental health and substance abuse

    Preference given to candidates that also have:

    • 3 years of clinical supervision in mental health and/or addiction treatment
    • 3 years of work in a mental health or addiction crisis setting
    • Working familiarity with AMSR, CANS, and ZeroSuicide, and other suicide risk-related best practices
