Employee Health Services Manager is responsible for managing the employee health service functions of the organization. Administers healthcare program operations and supervises subordinate staff. Being an Employee Health Services Manager ensures that all medical records are kept in a manner compliant with appropriate policies and procedures. May be responsible for administering employee physicals, injury related diagnoses, or other types of referrals according to OSHA regulations. Additionally, Employee Health Services Manager may provide consultation regarding workers' compensation, infection control or other employee health related issues. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. Typically requires a registered nurse. The Employee Health Services Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Scope of WorkSeeking a dynamic RN who is eager to develop as a leader within Employee Health Services. This role is on-site and will float between the Southfield and Dearborn clinics.
Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The charge nurse is a role that a nurse assumes on a shift by shift basis and the nurse will not typically be in charge for their full FTE. As such, all responsibilities, requirements and essential functions of the staff nurse role within their unit/department apply to them in the charge nurse role. Qualifications- Required Associate's Degree or equivalent Nursing education requirements for charge nurse duties are the same as specified in the job description for the staff nurse role within the department. Refer to parent job description for requirements.

- LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association WITHIN 90 DAYS Cardiovascular Advanced Heart Failure Ambulatory, Big Rapids Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab, Big Rapids Pre-Op Call, United Cardiac Rehab 90 Days required
- CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association Lake Drive Ambulatory Surgery Center, South Pavilion Ambulatory Surgery Center, pre/post/PACU nurses only 180 Days required
- CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Big Rapids - Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab 90 Days preferred
