Employee Health Services Manager is responsible for managing the employee health service functions of the organization. Administers healthcare program operations and supervises subordinate staff. Being an Employee Health Services Manager ensures that all medical records are kept in a manner compliant with appropriate policies and procedures. May be responsible for administering employee physicals, injury related diagnoses, or other types of referrals according to OSHA regulations. Additionally, Employee Health Services Manager may provide consultation regarding workers' compensation, infection control or other employee health related issues. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. Typically requires a registered nurse. The Employee Health Services Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision from the Human Resources Director (HRD), the Safety Coordinator supports all NVIH employees and site with oversight of the agency safety programs. The main focus of the Safety Coordinator is to ensure the highest level of employee safety is achieved through frequent monitoring of programs and work environments, communication with staff and management, and keeping up to date and recommending revisions to the agency Safety Programs as needed through risk assessment and compliance review.
