Employee Health Services Manager is responsible for managing the employee health service functions of the organization. Administers healthcare program operations and supervises subordinate staff. Being an Employee Health Services Manager ensures that all medical records are kept in a manner compliant with appropriate policies and procedures. May be responsible for administering employee physicals, injury related diagnoses, or other types of referrals according to OSHA regulations. Additionally, Employee Health Services Manager may provide consultation regarding workers' compensation, infection control or other employee health related issues. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. Typically requires a registered nurse. The Employee Health Services Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program, provides ongoing case management services for children/adolescents and adults with mental illness.
Essential functions and responsibilities:·
Specific Equipment and Materials to be used: Personal vehicles may be used for consumer visits; use of company vehicles when possible. Personal laptops and phone may be used as well. Gas stipend provided.
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Behavioral Health field, which includes human services/or behavioral sciences related (psychology, sociology, social work) field from an accredited college or university.
Experience and Training: 1 year of successful part-time or full-time case management experience in Behavioral Health Services Prefer bilingual English/Spanish. Requires a valid driver license with a safe driving record along with proof of a current and valid auto insurance card.
Physical activities/Physical demands: Sitting 2/3 of time. Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel, reach with hands and arms, twist at the waist, push and/or pull less than 1/3 of time. Lift and carry maximum of 35 pounds
