Process Technician (plastics injection molding)
Location: Lancaster, PA, US
Pay Rate: Negotiable - based on experience/skill-set
Schedule: Monday to Friday 3pm to 11:30pm

SCOPE AND PURPOSE: Manage the processing of plastics injection molding machines, performing daily checks on molds, machines, robots and other related equipment, as well as leading the team on shift.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Completing production start-ups after mold changes
• Implementing established processes for new/existing molds to run at optimum cycles
• Partnering with material handlers, operators and other technicians to keep machines running
• Assisting Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance and Engineering in resolving any issues with production
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Supervising shift and leading team-members
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years experience in processing for plastic injection molding
• Ability to follow established procedures / specifications and maintain accurate records
• Team player with supervisory and training experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• The ability to manage a number of projects at one time with frequent interruptions and tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in loud manufacturing environment
• Occasional need to bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent walking / standing
