Employee Health Services Manager jobs in Monterey, CA

Employee Health Services Manager is responsible for managing the employee health service functions of the organization. Administers healthcare program operations and supervises subordinate staff. Being an Employee Health Services Manager ensures that all medical records are kept in a manner compliant with appropriate policies and procedures. May be responsible for administering employee physicals, injury related diagnoses, or other types of referrals according to OSHA regulations. Additionally, Employee Health Services Manager may provide consultation regarding workers' compensation, infection control or other employee health related issues. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. Typically requires a registered nurse. The Employee Health Services Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Community Health Services and Marketing Manager

    • Develop and implement an annual outreach plan that includes promotional and

    • Develops marketing plans for assigned programs, which includes market analysis and
      financial feasibility studies.
    • Collaborates with external organizations and community stakeholders to plan and execute
      program activities, campaigns, and strategies to promote healthcare programs.
    • Assists the various departments of the facility with new business and marketing plans.
    • Continuously monitors the effectiveness of new and existing marketing plans.
    • Performs and supervises all communication, outreach, marketing, public relations, and
      media duties relating to CSVS as required.
    • Represents the facility with business leaders, physicians, the community, and the media.
    • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills within the facility and with the public.
    • Communicates appropriately and clearly to the Community Health Services and Marketing
      Director and the marketing staff.
    • Consults other departments, as appropriate, to collaborate in regard to marketing and
      business plans.
    • Demonstrates the ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful conditions.
    • Consistently completes all assignments in a timely manner, is thorough and appropriately.

    Regulatory Requirements:
    Bachelor of Science Degree in biological sciences, public health, business administration, social sciences;
    Master in Public Health and/or Master in Business Administration preferred.
    Two to five (2-5) years’ experience in healthcare and/or medical industry is required.
    Language Skills:
    Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
    Excellent presentation skills.
    Additional languages preferred.
    Skills:
    Excellent skills needed in forecasting, market based planning, market research techniques and marketing
    communication.
    Excellent interpersonal skills.
    Effective communication: verbal and written.
    Public relations experience.
    Basic computer knowledge.
