Employee Health Services Manager is responsible for managing the employee health service functions of the organization. Administers healthcare program operations and supervises subordinate staff. Being an Employee Health Services Manager ensures that all medical records are kept in a manner compliant with appropriate policies and procedures. May be responsible for administering employee physicals, injury related diagnoses, or other types of referrals according to OSHA regulations. Additionally, Employee Health Services Manager may provide consultation regarding workers' compensation, infection control or other employee health related issues. Training is on 1st shift
Experience:
Five years management experience acquired in a hospital and/or Commercial laboratory setting
Education:
BS/BA in related biological science required
Thorough knowledge of medical technology generally acquired through B.S. or B.A. Degree from an accredited institution with a major in medical technology or one of the biological, physical or chemical sciences
Masters Degree in a related science or business administration preferred.
Licensures/Certifications:
MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
