Employee Health Services Manager is responsible for managing the employee health service functions of the organization. Administers healthcare program operations and supervises subordinate staff. Being an Employee Health Services Manager ensures that all medical records are kept in a manner compliant with appropriate policies and procedures. May be responsible for administering employee physicals, injury related diagnoses, or other types of referrals according to OSHA regulations. Additionally, Employee Health Services Manager may provide consultation regarding workers' compensation, infection control or other employee health related issues. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. Typically requires a registered nurse. The Employee Health Services Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Job Summary:
TriState Health Human Resources is currently seeking a part-time Employee Health RN to join our team! The right candidate is responsible for providing Employee Health services to Tri-State employees and volunteers; performs pre-employment screenings for new hires, including evaluation of immunization status and drug screens. Provides partnership in case management for worker’s compensation claims including root cause analysis; Reports injury trends and makes recommendations to promote safe work practices. Administers vaccinations and tuberculosis screenings as needed. Maintains thorough occupational health record files with documentation and appropriate record keeping. Active participation to relevant hospital committees, including Safe Patient Handling record compliance and acting as a back-up instructor. Provide ergonomic assessments as needed. Participate in work force development initiatives. Manages employee illness and stays in contact with department directors regarding return to work dates. Manages drug screens. Oversees school RN employee including time card, time off requests, monthly check ins and annual performance review.
