Employee Performance Specialist develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance. Conducts assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Employee Performance Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Employee Performance Specialist encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Employee Performance Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     Job Requirements:


    Assists in achieving compliance with regulatory and accrediting agency standards and evidence based care by collecting, reporting and analyzing data required for physician performance evaluation. Facilitates the Peer Review process, Medical Staff Quality Improvement Committee including physician Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations (OPPE) and Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE) with physician leadership.

    Qualifications:
    Current licensure as registered nurse in the State of Florida. B.S.N. preferred. Recent acute care PI experience preferred CPHQ preferred. Demonstrates strong clinical skills. Knowledge of Joint Commission Core Measures, NPSGs and state and federal standards. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrates strong statistical analysis and organizational skills. Ability to work with spreadsheets and databases required.
