Position Summary:

This is a full time position with full benefits. The Department Coordinator will perform a variety of tasks related to supporting the operation of the TPC Cash and Carry store in Davenport, Iowa. In this position you will:

• Receive incoming stock items at the loading dock and transport to staging area.
• Inspect items for damage, perform quality checks and temperature checks, verify lot numbers and take appropriate action as needed.
• Rotate date sensitive stock to the front of the rack (FIFO) and remove outdated inventory according to company policy.
• Work with refrigerated and frozen product.
• Perform inventory counts.
• Assist customers with selections.
• Handle daily cash applications including tender of customer orders, collect cash, check, and credit card payments and responsible for end of day drawer balance.
• Select customer orders for will-call.
• Perform general housekeeping duties,
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

• 6 months experience working in a food warehouse, grocery or retail environment.

• Available to work any hours the store is open: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday.

• Ability to lift products to stock shelves.

• Great customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months or more experience with grocery merchandising
