Job Summary:
This position plays a crucial role in keeping hvac systems operating as designed, extending equipment life, and increasing efficiency. Will investigate complex system problems through component and system testing, BAS trending, analyzing data, and reviewing documentation. Corrects failures in mechanical, pneumatic, electric, and electronic systems and equipment related to building automation systems and associated control equipment on campus. Acts as a commissioning specialist in the recommissioning of campus buildings to improve efficiencies and optimize performance of mechanical systems. Assists with campus projects by reviewing design documents and providing recommendations.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $59,205 - $71,859.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
This position may be eligible for a one-time non-base building sign-on bonus up to $2,000. Details of this recruitment incentive program will be provided during the interview process.
