Job Overview:
As a Patti’s Kitchen Employee, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of food and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. You will work as part of a team to ensure that meals are prepared and served on time and to the highest standards. Pay and position within the kitchen will be determined at time of hire to best match your skills, experience, and qualifications to the job.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and dicing
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
• Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and stoves
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures when handling food
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
• Follow all food handling and storage guidelines
• Assist with menu planning and development as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
