Conducts assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Employee Performance Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Employee Performance Specialist encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Employee Performance Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. This position can be based out of our Sedalia, Warrensburg, or Independence, MO offices.
The Employee Benefits Specialist acts as the Account Manager within our Small Groups Employee Benefits Team and assists in day to day client support in our employee benefits department. This is an insurance office setting (not call center). You'll be actively managing the benefits marketing process with our carriers, processing eligibility requests, and client support and retention. Previous experience within an insurance brokerage, insurance carrier, or human resources position working with employee benefits, are a few roles that would translate well to this position. A Life and Health License is preferred.
