Employee Performance Specialist develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance. Conducts assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Employee Performance Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Employee Performance Specialist encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Employee Performance Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     What will you do as a Labor Relations and Training Specialist?
    As a Labor Relations and Training Specialist, you will have a pivotal role in fostering positive labor relations within our organization and ensuring our employees possess the knowledge and skills required to excel in their roles.

    Your key responsibilities include:
    Labor Relations:
    • Overseeing the Investigation Process: Lead and manage the investigation process.
    • Collaborating with Management and Labor Unions: Collaborate with management and labor unions to address labor-related issues and disputes.
    • Advising on Labor Laws: Provide guidance on labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Participating in Negotiations: Engage in negotiations and grievance resolution processes.
    • Tracking and Analyzing Trends: Monitor and analyze labor-related trends.

    Training and Development:
    • Assessing Training Needs: Evaluate the training needs of employees and departments.
    • Designing Training Programs: Create, develop, and deliver training programs and materials.
    • Evaluating Effectiveness: Assess the effectiveness of training initiatives and implement improvements.
    • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentoring to employees for skill enhancement.
    • Developing Policies and Recommendations: Develop, interpret, manage, and recommend policies and practices based on workforce trends.

    Compliance:
    • Ensuring Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
    • Implementing Corrective Actions: Recommend and implement corrective actions when necessary.

    What do you need to be successful?
    To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
    • Strong Knowledge of Labor Laws and Regulations.
    • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Bilingual Preferred: Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.
