    Basic Responsibilities

    A. Create a strategic, multi-year sales plan for all ticketed sports

    B. Develop detailed ticket office operation policies and procedures

    C. Assist in creative marketing efforts to increase attendance at home events

    D. Assist in growth and stewardship of the Wildcat Club, the fundraising arm of ACU Athletics

    E. Develop an expertise with the department ticket software platform

    F. Ensure detailed record keeping, timely reporting and collaboration with campus partners

    G. Oversee daily sales operations

    H. Perform general administrative duties and assist with home game operations



    Essential Duties

    A. Create a strategic, multi-year sales plan for all ticketed sports

    1. Focus on increasing season ticket holders

    2. Develop customer retention strategies

    3. Promote ticket sales incentives, group sales, mini plans and other creative solutions to increase attendance.


    B. Develop detailed ticket office operation policies and procedures

    1. Create handbook of policies and procedures for office assistants and student workers

    2. Develop game day sales standards

    3. Establish reasonable standards for complimentary tickets and player pass operations


    C. Assist in creative marketing efforts to increase attendance at home events


    D. Assist in growth and stewardship of the Wildcat Club, the fundraising arm of ACU Athletics

    1. Assist in execution of annual Wildcat Club communication strategy

    2. Fulfill all stewardship activities, including but not limited to timely thank you recognition and annual gifts distribution.

    3. Assign game day parking

    4. Maintain an exceptionally high level of customer service satisfaction


    E. Develop an expertise with the department ticket software platform

    1. Serve as primary manager for software and liaison with necessary campus partners


    F. Ensure detailed record keeping, timely reporting and collaboration with campus partners

    1. Create and submit regular sales reports for Deputy AD and Director of Athletics, Business office and campus partners

    2. Create and provide weekly donation summary to Deputy AD and monthly donation summary to Head Coaches

    3. Track all athletics donations in conjunction with University Advancement


    G. Oversee daily sales operations

    1. In conjunction with the developed policies and procedures

    2. Ensure all front line workers are equipped to serve customer requests


    H. Perform general administrative duties and assist with home game operations

    1. Required to attend most if not all ticketed home events

    2. Some travel expected particularly to away football and conference tournament events

    Qualifications

    A. Professional

    1. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree.

    2. At least 1 year of responsible experience in ticket operations, with some supervisory or management experience preferred.

    3. Demonstrated knowledge of sales strategies.

    4. Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and quality of work.

    5. Broad understanding of/and interest in numerous sports.

    Physical Demands

    A. Able to endure extended periods of sitting and typing at computer terminal

    D. Able to communicate with various audiences on the phone, in person and via computer

    E. Able to lift heavy boxes

    F. Able to lift chairs and tables and equipment necessary to arrange for event sales and other events.

    G. Able to drive to athletic event locations

    H. Able to represent ACU at conferences

    I. Irregular work hours/long days, weeknight hours and weekends.

    J. Extended travel, i.e. same-day, 1-2-day, week long, etc trips.

    K. Exposed to extreme weather conditions
