    Description

    Summary: Assists in coordinating ongoing training & development of employees. Assist in the delivery of training activities within the bank. Partners with the training department manager to evaluate training needs and develop ideas to meet those needs. Responsible for increasing job knowledge, developing skills, and helping branches with problem solving issues.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Assists with the ongoing development of training by updating and evaluating current and future needs.
    • Train new employees for teller, new accounts, loan secretary, loan officer positions
    • Create and track monthly quizzes
    • Works with Training Manager, Human Resources, and Branch Managers on employee issues and problems.
    • Assists in coordinating training schedule for new employees, cross training, and fill in tellers
    • Work with new employees at their branch.
    • Assist branches with problem resolution and quality control.
    • Maintain inventory of training supplies.
    • .HSA & IRA oversight & support.
    • Tax reporting support & corrections.
    • Assist in coordination of group training events, luncheons, and stockholder meetings.
    • Recommends or develops and implement teaching or training aids.
    • Facilitate scheduling of multi-use training room, including room set up & take down.
    • Review core system and software updates to include testing, troubleshooting, and providing training when needed.
    • Provide administrative support for check ordering portal.

    Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
