What will you do as a Labor Relations and Training Specialist?As a Labor Relations and Training Specialist, you will have a pivotal role in fostering positive labor relations within our organization and ensuring our employees possess the knowledge and skills required to excel in their roles.
Your key responsibilities include:Labor Relations:- Overseeing the Investigation Process: Lead and manage the investigation process.
- Collaborating with Management and Labor Unions: Collaborate with management and labor unions to address labor-related issues and disputes.
- Advising on Labor Laws: Provide guidance on labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Participating in Negotiations: Engage in negotiations and grievance resolution processes.
- Tracking and Analyzing Trends: Monitor and analyze labor-related trends.
Training and Development:- Assessing Training Needs: Evaluate the training needs of employees and departments.
- Designing Training Programs: Create, develop, and deliver training programs and materials.
- Evaluating Effectiveness: Assess the effectiveness of training initiatives and implement improvements.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentoring to employees for skill enhancement.
- Developing Policies and Recommendations: Develop, interpret, manage, and recommend policies and practices based on workforce trends.
Compliance:- Ensuring Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Implementing Corrective Actions: Recommend and implement corrective actions when necessary.
What do you need to be successful?To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:- Strong Knowledge of Labor Laws and Regulations.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual Preferred: Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.
