    Leads the development and execution of the Company's investor relations strategy, operating plans, and budget. Responsible for maintaining strong communication and managing relationships between the company and its financial community ensuring transparency and trust by providing accurate financial information, a clear strategic vision and addressing questions and concerns. Maintains strong working relationships with senior management, other officers, and key personnel to ensure strategic alignment in written and verbal messaging to investors and analysts. Partners with Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) team to identify, measure and report on the Company's progress on ESG performance metrics and ensure alignment with the corporate strategy.

    SALARY RANGE: $148,400 - $244,850 (Determined by the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.)

    REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Senior Vice President - Chief Financial Officer

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Lead, develop, and execute multi-year investor targeting strategy and actively engage potential investors.
    • Leads the development and execution of the Company's investor relations program including strategy, operating plans, and budget.
    • Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with institutional and retail investors and sell-side analysts. Responsible for understanding and directly communicating the strategic vision of the company through concise, accurate and confident communication.
    • Oversee the research, development, execution, and delivery of all investor relations materials for quarterly earnings, investor conferences, investor roadshows, analyst days, and other related events.
    • Oversee the quarterly earnings process including alignment of business strategy and results within messaging materials, drafting press releases, creating scripts for the CEO and CFO, developing questions and answers for investor and analyst discussions, establishing detailed timelines and responsibilities, and assuring team members know their roles within the process.
    • Collaborate with CFO, Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer to support relations with debt holders, credit analysts and rating agencies.
    • Maintain a strong understanding and compliance with Regulation Fair Disclosure serving as a steward of accuracy and thoughtful external communication.
    • Manage the development and monitoring of performance metrics for investor relations activities; advise executive management on market trends and peer companies' activities within the industry, analyst estimates and earnings consensus, expected financial community reaction to various decisions and communications and provide updates on current market perceptions of Company.
    • Oversee selection, training, development, and performance of assigned staff to retain a motivated, productive, and professional workforce.

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Plan, coordinate, and execute the schedules and logistics for all industry conferences, road shows, analyst days, and other events.
    • Oversee benchmarking efforts to ensure messaging efforts remain relevant and competitive with peers.
    • Review and select key vendors that provide critical services to support and maintain Investor Relations' activities.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Communications, or related field required.
    • Minimum of ten years of investor relations, communications, leadership in the utility or energy industry or related experience required.

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • Extensive knowledge of finance, modeling, utility industry and the company's strategic objectives.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication competencies.
    • Ability to persuade and influence stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated expertise and success in project management, relationship building, and team leadership required. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative environment.
    • Utility experience and understanding.
    • MBA, CFA, and/or Investor Relations Charter preferred.
