Employee Relations Manager designs, plans, and implements a company's employee relations programs, policies, and procedures. Maintains good communication and positive relationships with employees to promote employee satisfaction. Being an Employee Relations Manager guides department managers and employees throughout the performance management and goal setting process. Identifies and analyzes issues with employee relations infractions. Additionally, Employee Relations Manager provides recommendations for resolutions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Employee Relations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an Employee Relations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Compensation:$65,000
Responsibilities:- Hire, train, and encourage the teamwork of front-office staff while simultaneously setting strong customer service standards and levels of performance
- Increase occupancy and profitability by developing and promoting hotel services and amenities through up-selling strategies
- Respond to all guests' requests, problems, complaints, and accidents in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner
- Ensure consistent standards of guest satisfaction by managing the whole front office operations of the hotel
- Develop short term and long term financial and operational plans for the guest service department which relate to the overall objectives of the hotel
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role in hospitality or customer service capacity
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
- This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
- Showcase exceptional multitasking, communication, and management skills
- 3 years of previous experience working in the hospitality industry
