Committed to market growth, community engagement, and building a well-informed, highly-engaged workforce, the Manager, Public Relations & Communications is responsible for developing and implementing public relations and communications strategies and plans to support hospital campuses, medical centers and other regionally based services. Serving as the hospitals primary Public Information Officer (PIO), the manager assists with crisis communications and emergency management alongside key regional or market based clinical, operational and administrative leaders; and partners with other communications leaders to coordinate and align messaging and response plans. The manager provides key counsel and support for local employee engagement strategies and partners with colleagues across the system to integrate approaches to special events and recognitions. Additionally, the manager will support regional growth strategies, outreach efforts for the promotion of new physicians and facilities, earned & paid community media, and support market based community relations alongside key partners across the campuses, market and health system. This position reports to the Director of Regional Public Relations & Communications Strategy.
