Employee Relations Manager designs, plans, and implements a company's employee relations programs, policies, and procedures. Maintains good communication and positive relationships with employees to promote employee satisfaction. Being an Employee Relations Manager guides department managers and employees throughout the performance management and goal setting process. Identifies and analyzes issues with employee relations infractions. Additionally, Employee Relations Manager provides recommendations for resolutions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Employee Relations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an Employee Relations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Forks Freightliner is currently hiring an Assistant Service Manger to join our service team. We are looking for the right individual who can provide excellent customer service support for the repair shop while contributing to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the dealerships service department.
Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
· Coordinating with the Service Manager and technicians on the completion of all repair orders.
· Prepare, maintain, and close repair orders as necessary.
· Assist in the scheduling and coordination of repairs while working closely with the Service Manager.
· Help answering overflow of incoming service calls.
This is a full-time 40-hour position. Hours are M-F, 8am-5pm.
Requirements: Qualified applicants must have excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task. A background in the service industry is a plus but willing to train. Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
