Employee Relations Manager designs, plans, and implements a company's employee relations programs, policies, and procedures. Maintains good communication and positive relationships with employees to promote employee satisfaction. Being an Employee Relations Manager guides department managers and employees throughout the performance management and goal setting process. Identifies and analyzes issues with employee relations infractions. Additionally, Employee Relations Manager provides recommendations for resolutions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Employee Relations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an Employee Relations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What will you do?

    • Perform the human resource activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Is the “Go-To” for employee-related matters.
    • Manage the recruitment process through on-boarding new teammates; training and education programs.
    • Collaborate with team leaders regarding employee performance and development.
    • Administer payroll and benefits programs.
    • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner with the highest level of confidence, discretion and diplomacy.
    • Maintain a positive public image and is responsive to customers, constituents and colleagues.

    What education, experience, skills and competencies do I need?

    • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
    • Three (3) years experience in human resources, payroll and benefits role.
    • Initative, collaboration and teamwork.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Equity and inclusion.
