Identifies and analyzes issues with employee relations infractions. Additionally, Employee Relations Manager provides recommendations for resolutions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Employee Relations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an Employee Relations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Mountain Valley has an opening for a Donor Relations Program Manager. The Donor Relations Program Manager will play a crucial role in cultivating and maintaining meaningful relationships with donors, supporters, and community partners to grow our organization's philanthropic efforts. In this position you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance donor engagement, increase fundraising efforts, and support the financial sustainability of our hospice programs.

    What you will typically be responsible for:

    Donor Engagement:

    • Develop and execute donor engagement strategies to build long-term relationships with individual and corporate donors.
    • Organize and oversee donor appreciation events, outreach programs, and communication initiatives.

    Fundraising:

    • Plan and coordinate fundraising campaigns, including annual appeals, online campaigns, and special events.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling fundraising materials and communication.

    Grant Management:

    • Research and identify potential grant opportunities to support hospice programs.
    • Prepare grant proposals, reports, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.

    Community Outreach:

    • Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and meetings to promote awareness and partnerships.
    • Collaborate with other non-profits and community organizations to enhance the organization's presence.

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Communications)
    • 3 years of experience in donor relations or fundraising, preferably within a non-profit or healthcare setting
    • Proficiency in fundraising databases and Microsoft Office applications
    • Strong organizational and project management skills
